We are delighted to have launched our own platform - Project Boo - that handles all aspects of convention management, streamlining the booking process and making organisers' lives much easier by bringing all of their convention requirements under one roof.
Built from the ground up on the TALL stack, it has already been excellently received in the fortnight since it was officially launched, with a large number of conventions already on board for this year, and many more looking at it for their next events.
This was also the first time on a site that we've leveraged Tailwind's 'dark mode' functionality to create a dark mode variant of the design of the site, which was great fun and has much praised by the younger generation - who we can only presume are more au fait with these sorts of things than we are.
Whilst the commission rates for usage are very low (just 3% or 4%, depending on the size of your convention) we are doing our little bit for the boardgaming community (of which we are proud to be a part) by making it completely free for smaller conventions to use all of the features of Project Boo (of which there are many!) to encourage the spread of boardgaming-love!
